Speedo gear

Hi Ed,
You'll need a 20.7 tooth gear for your speedo. Knowing a 20.7 tooth is impossible you can install a 20 tooth gear which the speedo will display higher speeds or a 21 tooth gear and your speedo will display a lower and more accurate speed.

Ah c'mon Mike.....you mean you can't take a 20T gear and glue 3/4 of a tooth onto it? :D

What about using a electric speedo, what parts do I need.

You can use a Speedcal (yes, that's what it's actually called) to calibrate your speedometer. They are $110 + shipping.

It wires in, in-line, and has DIP switches to make adjustments. I use them on later model Mustangs when I swap rear gears.

The sensor is already in the transmission. So you will need the pig tail to connect to the sensor and the speedo.

I thought he needed a way of correcting the speedo with a gear change.
