great look on the rolled out rubber mat, something to think about that I hadn't earlier considered.

I am surprised no one has mentioned permanent stick on tile, anyone use that surface?

I got my plastic/rubber mats at Sam's (Warehouse club - several years ago approx $140). I think I also recently saw them at Cosco for approx. $165(?).

Ron- I agree. It's the best product on the market and is easy to cover up that old concrete floor, fast. No prep is needed other than sweeping before laying down the tiles. If you move, you can take it with you. Power washing is also easy if need being. 12 year full warranty, not pro-rated after 6 years.

A heavy vehicle on normal jack stands will leave marks on all tiles, so I put carpet samples or anything I have laying around, under the stands for protection.

For other members that have not seen the Swisstrax flooring, I can get a 30% off retail price for us here on CC. Send me an PM/email.

I got my bid estimate and I'm currently just waiting for the sample and then I will probably submit my order.

I'm not sure why Kevin keeps trying to undercut a forum vendor, but if I do this, I'm going with RaceDeck.

FUNFER2 09-08-2010 05:23 PM

Why ?

I've had the 30% off since the start, so I'm not under cutting anyone.

People here that know me from my "Group Buys", feel the products and prices, are top quality. No one that has bought from these buys, have complained to me about the products, price or the "group buy". So far, 11 people have bought the flooring.

All I'm doing is helping us all save money as a group, not only on this flooring, but Good Year Billboard tires, and other's. If I felt that the competitor's on any other products I've had was better, I would only contact them for group buy pricing.

I tested my "samples" from various company's for a year, inside & out, weight placed on them, warranties ect. I'm happy with Swisstrax, if you're happy with any other tile product, that's perfectly fine. Since I don't work for any of these company's that I've had with the buys, I don't loose any income, I just save on these products and share it with other people. :)

If anyone else wants in on these buys, just PM or email me anytime. I'll also give you my phone number. As I see it, no one has to slam any products here on club cobra, whether it's flooring, engine builders to Cobra manufacturer's.

Do the research and I'm sure you'll be happy. :3DSMILE:

Thank you for considering RaceDeck and I am in agreement with people doing this, which is a tactic banned in many forums.. I can assure you that as the manufacturer and you as a CC nobody will beat our price or quality...
Cheers!

FUNFER2 09-08-2010 09:04 PM

Mr. RaceDeck-

I thought we had a agreement last time ?

I have not made any bad remarks about you, and now you post this,.... Quote- "people doing this, which is a tactic banned in many forums"

Why is it, that when I mention my tile group buy, that you must always start a problem, like this time, calling this a "tactic",.... when clearly I have not attacked you ?

With my group buys for the tiles, Good Year Billboard tires, MaxJax car lift ect,..., I'm honest & honorable. Ask anyone here or on other sites, if they thought I had a "tactic" behind my buys, I think not.

You undermine the good natured reason, that I give everyone a chance to get the flooring at a lower, group rate price. Why is that ?

You pay for advertising and I do not, because I'm a simple guy and not a business owner like yourself, but,.... I have saved forum members money, with quality products, with my "Group Buys".

Why do you feel you must ruin a good thing, by saving members money with my group buys ?

Like the last time,.... You leave me alone, I'll do the same. Agree ? :)

Mr Group Buy Crusader

I am not really going to continue this silly discussion, I stand by what I said in my post

Have a nice evening

jmimac351 09-08-2010 09:46 PM

This is no way to treat a forum sponsor. I don't pay a dime to surf this site and it's forum sponsors who pay for the bandwidth I and others use free of charge. I am as happy to save money as the next guy but it's unfortunate some people don't have enough sense to understand what is and isn't appropriate.

Jorgen, you are a gentleman and I'm glad I have your product in my garage.

Best regards.

Jim

FUNFER2 09-08-2010 10:03 PM

RaceDeck-You agreed with me from two years ago, after you slammed my Group Buy, that this is silly. It's not needed from either of us, but you started up once again on this thread. Why ?

Jim- if you're happy with RaceDeck and want to stand by the product, that's of course fine with me. Also, remember where I'm coming from. I do not own a business or work for any of the products from my Group Buys, I just setup these deals for all members to save some money. All of the buys has worked out very well.

You leave me alone, I'll do the same. Agreed ?

Enough said. :)

computerworks 09-08-2010 10:54 PM

This is the very last time there will be a dialog like this.

Kevin... I have a "deal" for you.

You can stay on this forum if you never use the words "group buy" or start another one on any product.

Think about one more and you will be shown the door.

Thanks
ron
