It was a standard production SPF MK III that was "set up" by Olthoff racing, i.e. alignment, ride height, etc. Nothing more than bolt on parts. The engine is a Roush 427 SR, the street motor. The real story is Edward Sevadjian who normally races a Grand Sport Corvette, had NEVER DRIVEN AN SPF MK III BEFORE! And he placed third!
Superformance does not build a "race" version of the MK III. We do offer an "R" version GT40 set up for vintage racing but Dennis Olthoff's GT40 is not one. That said, Dennis has done numerous modifications, roll cage, brake ducts, etc. to turn the prototype street MK II into a vintage racer.
