Wiper motor with Lucas switch

Can someone post and good diagram of the lucas switch and motor.

I am looking for the wiring. Also if you can indicate how the 2nd, 1st and park are being triggered.

Is it a negitive trigger of positve?

Live is (positive) where on the switch
Park is (trigger) and where on the switch?
1st - (trigger) where on the switch
2nd - (trigger) where on the switch
Earth (Ground) where on the switch

Then where does the main power get applied on the switch (terminal) or in between the switch and motor.

Same for ground?

I have a pdf showing how I wired my wiper motor using the Lucas switch, but don't know how to upload the file - sent you an e-mail.

Thanks RWD

So the only wires that come from the car are + and -.

+ gets connected to the switch on terminal #6 on the switch and on the motor of terminal #4.

I guess the switch then passes the current to the park,1st speed, 2nd speed.

Then - gets connected to terminal #1 only on motor

That's how I did mine and it is still working correctly after 2 years - self parks also.

I wired mine like the diagram in the link that RWD posted.

I wired the power for the wiper motor directly to the battery. My Painless harness didn't have wires for the wiper motor.

Sure is nice having wipers!!!

I tried wiring it up according to the wiring diagram and in the off position it is running at high speed.

When looking at the motor (at the terminals) what is the pin out

-Ground
l-high l-park
l- low l-ign

Is this correct?
