15% ethanol mandated in gas?

The EPA is considering upping the ethanol content from 10 to 15% in pump gas. What is this going to mean for our hipo engines? I already don't like the 10% crap, which BTW polutes more and is less efficient.

What will this do to the engine and fuel system?

Dave,

It means run more of some kind of good additive or racing gas. I have heard RUMORS, and I stress the rumor part, that they may be going to up it to 20% one of these days.

15% ethanol mandated in gas?

they have used that there in our fuel for years, its crap, the carb and lines dry out very quickly, and if the car sits in the garage for too long the fuel goes stale, i put 105 octane (leaded racing fuel 1/2 ltr per fill) this seems to help it not dry out so quickly
