Wish I had a camera with me !

Every thursday nite there is a Cruise In at the Sonic Burger in Morgantown Pa and you never know what will show up.
There are usually a Backdraft Cobra and a Factory 5 along with an amazing assortment of Muscle cars, street rods ,and assorted hot rods,as many as 200 plus cars can fit the lot and it generally fills up quickly.
This thursday a black original 427 AC Cobra(the after Shelby Cobra ) all aluminum wearing it's race tires showed up.Stunning!
Then like icing on a cake a Kirkham 289 Cobra with wagon wheels, flawless black paint with white stripes, saddle tan interior, and sporting a 347 with Webbers rolled in.
Sure made my day!

Interesting, I know the Kirkham owner (he also has an older AC MK IV), cannot say the CSX4000 series rings a bell for the area (what did the plate read). The Burgundy Backdraft owner is a really nice guy, saw him a few weeks ago at the Pottstown cruise.

You are probably like me. I carry a cell phone and forget that it has a camera on it.

perhaps I misspoke, the AC car was described as being built by AC in the late 60's
It has a very unusual set of sidepipes, dual outlet shorties on both sides.
And, Scotty ,the owner of the Backdraft is a great guy to talk to.
Why don't you bring one of your cars down on a thursday and look me up.

Sounds like a good ride the next time I'm in Philly. An hour ride each way is a better way to spend an evening instead of sitting in the hotel room. I was working at the Hospital of the University of Penn today and I walk out in to the lot across the street where my rental is and what do I find? There was a Roush BDR sitting next to my rental. Best of all the owner walked out about the same as I did. We talked for a few minutes he didn't know it was a BDR just kept calling it a Roush. It was 1163 IIRC... Nice black with silver stripes.
