New Team III Wheels and Goodyear BB's

:DBrandon Kraus (Kraus Racing) just called me and said my AC III wheels just arrived and he was getting the BB's out to mount them. He said the wheels looked awsome.:D Clean and polished to perfection and he was very impressed with the quaility of the Team III wheels. It's been a long time comming. I can't wait to get them on. I will post some pictures. Also got my stickers in from Squire Design saturday and will put them on when i do the wheels. Should change the look completely.:D

:D They look GREAT!!! The wheels are beautiful and the knock off kit trims then out perfect. The only issue was that some of the white paint was rubbed off. Is that common with these tires? I know their not raised white letters but i thought the paint would be more durable. How hard is it to repaint the white on? Looks like i could just buy a small air brush kit and the right paint and it would be a snap.% Now i just got to get the stickers on and that bad hood scoop off. I would like to put on a Super Snake Scoop.

They are race tires, so that is the way the paint is.

Personally I like it that way. It looks (and is) authentic, and original.

Yea, I agree. That's why I was not upset. I have wanted these wheels and BB's from the first day I bought the car 4 yrs ago. My wife looked at them and said "You should send them back". I (as usual ) expressed concern and waited for her to go in the house. They do look like they have already been racing. COOL I think. How does the paint stand up to soap and water and maybe a little armor all?

I would say these wheels and tires are a big improvement over the old tires and wheels. The service from Team III and Kraus Racing (Brandon Kraus) was GREAT!!! I can't say enough about how good they were to deal with. Well worth the money. I faxed the order to Team III on May 25th and recieved my wheels with tires mounted and balanced by Kraus on June 8th. Brandon actually drove over to Team III (13 minutes away) and picked up my wheels to save me on shipping to his store.

Nice wheels, I have the team three wheels as well, although a much older generation. Tell us how the BB's run on the street with regard to vibration, flat spotting, traction etc. This forum has a range of mixed views on how these BB perform in the real world and I'm curious to hear yours.

thx

Most BB you see have had the Goodyear repainted. Below is a business that makes stencils for that, they also have some great sticker kits for Cobras, Daytona Coupes and GT-40's.

I just switched from BB's to the Avon CR6ZZ's. Hope to put a few more miles on them this weekend if it ever stops raining here, but at least for the few miles I have driven with the Avons, I like the BB's better.

These wheels look awesome, how much were they and where did you get them. Please forgive me if you have already stated this but I am new to this forum and I just bought my Cobra and these would look great on it.:)

Thanks,
Forrest

The best 3015.82 I have spent.

Thanks
The total on the wheels was 1735.00 and the tires was 1280.82 mounted and balanced then delivered to me in Wisconsin. It was the best 3015.82 I have spent.
