351W fuel injection
Has anyone installed an aftermarket 8 stack fuel injection system on their car
I am running a 351W stroked to 427 and I am looking to possibly install the stacked fuel injection system and I would like to know if there is a good place to buy this system , I would also like to have opinions good or bad about this modification |
I have a polished TWM stacked FI system on my 427w using Accel DFI Gen VII engine management system. Beautiful and clean stack system with fuel rails running down the middle. Lots of power, :D good wow factor. But currently running a bit rich(?)
DOWNSIDE: Budget $1000 to upgrade your fuel system. Also check your cam specs with your EFI manufacturer. (Comp Cams recommends a special grind) Make sure there is a tuner for your engine managment system locally. (No local Accel tuner in the Bay Area!) Seems that most tuners are tuning the FAS system. Could set you back $10k  I am considering the Jim Inglese Weber system for my Daytona 347 ... no need for computer, no upgrade to fuel system ... 1/2 the cost. |

Look under the FI section and you will see all types. I am TWM user and love it. It is easy to install and adjust. There are pics in profile
