Great little monitor
Undy Dave That's a great little piece of equipment for monitoring the motor when running. The biggest pain is having the bung hole installed in the pipe. They do have clip ons for the a dyno rooms. The only thing I have found is the location of this sensor doesn't get the combo of exhaust from all 4 cylinders on that side. You also might want to use your temp gun and check each cylinder pipe for temp. This will also tell you lean and rich holes. You could put the gauge on a flip up or down plate. If you are driving you have 8 gauges to look at in 2-3 seconds before you have to stop??? Highway checker with no body around. Remember that those cooler nights and the better air will make the motor run better. I guess you call them ocean runs. Rick L.

Both me and one of my sidepipes currently have a bung hole:eek::D One's threaded, one's ........
I had one installed on my right sidepipe when my shop was dialing in the carbs in the first place. We made 15 or 20 pulls on the chassis dyno. I just need to pull the plug 'n thread that puppy in.
Rick-motorhead extraordinaire, I got my Raytech laser temp gun (on loan from my HVAC business) strapped to my right side in a "quick draw" holster, just itching to fire a few well aimed shots at an unsuspecting header tube. I'll keep the gauge visible on the dash, right next to my fixed Halon fire extinguishing system's pull knob. I can't help it ol' Shelby didn't build 'em right in the first place.
