Stewart Warner guages

2k on the odometer and the Stewart Warner 550 speedometer stops working. The mph is ok, but the odometer is stuck on 2000. The fuel guage only registers less than 3/4 when the tank is full. Checked the wires to see if the ground was loose, and it was tight on the sender. The 2 yr warranty is up. What happened to "race quality speed parts". I thought Obama was going to make it cost prohibitive to ship stuff out of the country to be assembled in China and Mexico. Unemployment is at 10% and we are still getting huge container ships from China and Tiwan and sending them back empty. Anyone experiencing the "Hope and Change"?

Get a grip. This has nothing to do with politics. You problem is with S-W and your 2nd grade arithmetic teacher. The 2 year warranty is up, therefore the gauges were purchased in July of 2008 or earlier. It has nothing to do with Obama. I can't see how it has anything to do with Bush either. This is a Cobra forum not a political blog site!

Here's an easy solution.

When America stops buying cheap crap from other countries, the problem will solve itself.

55312 Looks like I struck a nerve when I mentioned Obama. Wait till next year when the amount your employee contributed to your medical contributions will be included in your gross income to fund Obama's health care program.

I am just venting that everything is made over seas and is crap! Bring back jobs to America where we take pride in our work.
