My Cobra isnt done yet...but when I got done restoring my Cushman Eagle and would go out for a cruise people would ask the same question. I tell them a few hundred dollars, a pint or two of blood and 4 visits to the eye doctor for foriegn particle removal. That tends to get the message across.

I personaly think most people want to judge something based soley on price simply because they have no other way to base the value of that item.

I think some people are just trying to learn more about the car. It isn't that hard to find out what the guy paid for the new gt500 or the new z06. Go on line or walk into a dealer and find out. Most people have no clue what you are driving and were to go to get one and what it will cost when they do find it.

That said it is still none of thier business.
