Caroll Shelby GT 350 Cobra Photo Remake

Carroll Shelby was in Monterey for Historics this past weekend. The staff at Shelby and him re-shot the famous picture in 1966 of the mustang gt-350 and the cobra in the background. Only this time around its the 2010 mustang gt-350 and the CSX 4000 series Cobra. They ask us (Gregory Motorsports) to bring in a cobra for the photo shoot since we were in the area. I bought CSX 4943 titanium with black stripes for the picture. We also had CSX 4999 on hand (all black), however, the photographers did not want to use because of the dark color. Overall Carroll looks in great shape and I think the photos turned out great. I will try to get some video posted up as well.

Overall the entire event was a lot of fun.

I wonder if anyone has the original 1966 photo for comparison purposes. Hopefully this ends up on the magazine. It looked amazing under the trees and sunlight of Monterey.

Here's a link to a photo on Team Shelby. Great shot. 4999 in the background.

He looks incredible now. Much better than in the spring.

CSX Cobra or other users - do you have any of these pics available? I have the CSX4943 in my showroom and would like to locate them!

Thanks
