Where do the vents go?

Hello, I am in the process of building a 1/8th scale model of the 427 Cobra. I have searched the web but have not been able to find any info on this.

I am wondering where the front vents, on the street 427, go. I have heard they were vented into the cockpit area to help cool the driver and passenger. If this is true, where does the vent enter the cockpit area?

I have seen pics of this vent being piped through the front wheel well area, using corregated hose, that passes through the large hole in the upper back region of the front inner fender panel, but I do not know if this is stock.

I have also heard that this vent is used to cool front brakes on the SC and the Comp. version.

If anybody can help I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks

The street vents go thru a "dryer" hose and enter the footboxes on the top surface, thru a "top hat" that has a mechanical flap to control flow.

Thanks for the info.

Does anybody have a picture that shows where they penetrate the footboxes? I just want to get them right.

Getting pics of the SC or Comp. Cobra is fairly easy, but finding pics of a street Cobra are few and far between.

Thanks again

Thanks guys. I don't come here often to ask questions, I don't want to bug you guys. The few times I have is when I was really stuck and you guys have come through for me each time.

Thanks again
