I purchased an RU car from a fine gentleman in Texas, I'm located in SoCal and the car was delivered yesterday. The Texas fellow was the second owner having acquired the car from another Texan in 2007, it appears that the original owner/builder's name was Mike Jones, perhaps someone knows this person.
Anyway, the car is is very good condition except for a small fuel leak in the union from the tank to the fuel filter, I'll fix that in short order. The other issue is the fitting of the doors, I haven't removed them as yet, but it seems as if the hinge pins may be fatigued as the doors droop a bit and must be supported to latch securely. I used the search feature and came up empty. I've posted this in the RU section as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ken. |
Hi Ken, I replied to your post over in the RUCC Group forum. I've had my Cobra finished for about 2 1/2 years now & I love it! It's a shame they're not made anymore.
