A few what if's,,,,,,

you wanted some sort of fancy type paint?

you wanted some different options, engine, tranny gearing, IRS etc. ?

Something else that seemed to me to be a bright idea,,,, One of the other Mfg has a build school, what if you wanted to go to the factory to have a hand in building your own car?

What about all the stuff for documentation and registration in your home state?

It seems like a buyers market right now, possibly some more flexibility would liven the market some?

I bought my first B&B Cobra over 11 years ago and have recently had a different experience with another purchase than my first. I would be glad to share any information I have that may help you make a sound financial decision.

Why don't you contact Bryan directly regarding specific mods or upgrades. Registration varies by State. You live in CA. SB100 is the only way...become an expert.

Conversations with him have been non productive. I thought if I posed a few generalized what if's on the forum he would answer them but he came back with something about golf clubs. That is sort of how the conversation went.

OK. So, why don't you set your sights on another manufacturer to have a conversation with?

Your not the first to suggest this . It just seemed that the guy was willing to work with a potential buyer to put something together.

I thought it would be a great idea to go to the mfg and put the car together. Then if something didn't work out or fit correctly , the problem could be fixed at the source. All the warnings about missing and non fitting parts wouldn't be an issue. The car wouldn't just be thrown together , you could actually be hands on to see it done correctly.

As you and many others suggest, time to move on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
