DONATIONS NEEDED-Racers Against Texting & Driving.
Hello everyone. I made the mistake of posting my thread,...."Niece dies of driving & texting", in the "lounge section". I guess this area is not updated to the main page when someone replies. Sorry about this.

We must do everything we can, to aid in stopping this deadly situation. Your support for building this unique 2-seat sprint car build, that will be used as a tool, to get the word out of just how dangerous driving while texting is, is very much appreciated ! Fred (382cobra) is the first to donate. Thanks buddy ! :3DSMILE: We have a lot of events scheduled for 2011 and beyond. I spoke with the Nebraska State Patrol, and their very excited that we will attending several dates together, at area schools to promote "safety when driving" events. They will set up a booth for us to hand out literature about the hazards of texting while driving. They have a roll over simulator. Pretty cool of them to sponsor us ! I will keep all of you updated with the sprint car build and attended events with photo's and video. The sprint will also be the "A" feature pace car at Eagle Raceway. The track will sell tickets, and the winner will ride in the car for the entire evening of races ! We may start a website, if I can get someone to create one as a sponsor. Is there anyone here on CC that could help out ? Thank you all ! We're all legal now. We've also formed a board of directors, including our attorney. I have waited to start asking sprint car manufactures for donated parts until we had legal documentation for the assembled corporation. We have obtained a Winters Quick change rearend and some chassis parts. WE STILL NEED DONATIONS, SO PLEASE DO WHAT YOU CAN FOR THIS NEEDED CAMPAIGN. :) I would appreciate someone to help create a website. One of the avenues is through "Go Daddy". PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP ! Our corporation has been established, "RACERS AGAINST TEXTING WHILE DRIVING". Articles for the 501(c)(3) was sent in and I'll post the information when we receive it. We have our Non-profit organization Federal I.D number. I.D #27-3701662 I've never been a beggar, as I feel it's demeaning for me, but if you all can find it in your hearts, we really need as little as $50.00 each, to help aid our campaign. It's very expensive. All of the red tape of establishing a charity in our county, city & state, alone was $496.00. :eek: We have a lot of donated parts and will list the company's when we're done, but very little in money donations.
