Went to the track !
First time out in the BDR / 427SR/TW...
11.71 @ 120mph !:3DSMILE: I was really suprised how well the Goodyear F1's hooked. I was able to pull consistent 1.7 60' foot times. |
Very cool! Any issues with passing tech at the track?

nah, they just told me if I ran under 11.50 i would have to leave.

drag radials and Jaguar rears do not play well together
My experience was not as good. Doing a burnout, the car started to hook hard, then BANG:eek: Both half shafts are twisted. The rest is dust.

Ouch! I am glad I decided to go with the 9" straight axles since I plan on running at the drags!
Glad to see it did not do any body damage... |
...just when I was thinking about buying some drag radials to get some decent traction. Maybe I should be happy with a 2 second 60 ft time and just let it go. Alternative might be: Get some drag radials and just the rear axles go. :)
