Shelby Retrospective @ AACA Museum, 2011
From the Sept/Oct edition of the AACA Magazine:
" A " Shelby Retrospective " is on tap. This exhibition , which will begin in February of 2011 and run through May will include vehicles, memorabilia and history from the beginning of Shelby's automotive career through his current offerings with Ford Motor Company. We already have some vehicles committed for the display along with design and fabrication assistance, and it's already shaping up to be an ambitious and impressive display. If you have a Shelby-built vehicle from any time period in his career and would like to have it considered for inclusion in the exhibition, please send me some basic information and at least one photograph. Jeff,
I do not know if you are aware of the Capital Area Cobra Club in the Washington , DC area. You might want to post this message on their website as there are some CSX-4000 and one McCluskey Daytona in the club . Several of the members are planning on attending the show in Hershey next month. The club has almost 500 registered members of which 75 are fairly active and meet every Saturday morning for breakfast. This week is our "Rehoboth Fun Run " and we get over 60 Cobras from the mid -Atlantic states for a weekend of cruises , BBQ's and good times.Good luck with the retrospective and I will arrange a road trip for our club to attend the show.
