Kirkey Racing Seat-How do you fasten to floor?
Im curious how those of you with Kirkey racing seats fasten them to the floor. Did you make your own brackets or purchase an already made bracket to fit the seat?
Thanks

Most Kirky seats are mounted in race cars with tubular frames all around. You will place the seat where you want it and then bring tabs off the frame over to the seat. If your mounting it to a flat floor so to speak then you can just bolt it directly to the floor with your needed spacers for height.

I have a ken miles seat and I bought a welder and made a frame myself.

I made seat frames out of 3/4" square tubing for my passenger side. I bolted them to the floor panel, with the underside washers being large, 1-1/2" body washers (more area than just a small washer and nut, theory being it would be less likely to pull through the panel with the larger washer. Best to bolt seats to the frame, if possible.).
