Cobra wipeout

There aint no way my wife is getting behind the wheel of my cobra with Jerico five speed, the poor guy (idiot) must have started to think when she did a wheelie in reverse!

But if you haven't seen it, it's new.

My wife told me that she would never drive my cobra and I said, not even a short drive and she replied, are you crazy, this thing is way too fast.
I love her sooo much !

If my wife could grasp the concept of what this car is, and had at least 10 years experience driving cars with manual transmissions, I still wouldn't let her drive it. No freakin' way. It's just way too much more than she could ever comprehend, much less handle. Not a dig, just the facts. She just isn't into cars and such, much less anything that's anywhere near the extreme end of the scale, like the FFRs are. I can replace the car, not her.

Interesting.
I took a lady friend for a ride. In the first 1/2 mile she asked how many tickets I had? I drove pretty "normal" just kicking it up when traffic cleared on the expressway.
After a short ride I pulled off the expressway and into a parking lot and got out, she asked why, told her it was her turn to drive. I'd never ridden with her before but knew she understood cars and could drive a manual.
She rolled it out onto the two lane easing it through the gears then aimed it onto the expressway and hit it hard. She did great, not a moment of babying it.
Back on regular roads I had her idle it in first and ease it to 2,500, then push it all the way. The back end lit up, kicked out a bit and she grabbed second. Big grin. I was pleased.
I guess it all depends on the women you choose to hang out with.

Women Drivers

I don't think men have anything over women when it comes to driving Cobras.
Stupid is as stupid does.
