A great history refresher, I remember the car clearly and just couldn`t believe someone would set up a sports car for the drags. ha

As a nineteen year-old I saw the car often as I was local to Motion. It had Webers when I saw it and it was just a raw, brutal, black Cobra looking all business-no shiny play stuff on it. All handmarks and some scuffed edges.

I remember thinking at the time that it seemed like a dull black, sawed-off shotgun -with blood spatters on it. The open turnouts left a raw noise I never forgot-stronger than all the Bowtie 427's and 454's Joel was building at the time.

It's the main reason I later built my car with header flanges and turnouts and ran them open at the track. Sounds the same.

How about 600 to 800 pounds lighter than the Motion Vettes and Camaros?
