1980's Super Ford Shelby Cobra magazines
I was cleaning out my deceased friends gararge again yesterday and found some Shelby Cobra magazines from the 1980's. June 1982 Super Ford magazine, collector edition, with a cobra on the cover and Super Shelby Extravaganza titled and a August 1984 Super Ford magazine, collector edition, with interview "The Cobra Restorer" with a red/white stripe Cobra on the cover and Shelby America title. Both are in like new condition. I can see about having some color copies made if anyone is interested. I thought these were a nice find. My friend had all the Super Ford magazines from the late 70's to eaarly 90's and all the Hot Rod magazines from the late 60's to late 80's. A lot of great articles on Ford engines and racing. Also found a complete rebuilt 427 sideoiler. 4V. C5AE block and C4AE heads if I remember. engine wasn't covered so I'm sure a teardown and cleaning is needed. The magazines are not for sale. I plan to keep them for my collection. I am willing to go to a local print shop though and make color copies for whoever might want one. I would charge my actual printing costs plus a few bucks for my trouble plus whatever my shipping costs may be. I'm not attempting to make a living here. Just wanting to spread these around to my fellow Club Cobra members if they are interested. I am new to this computer stuff also so I don't know how to scan or attach anything to the forum. If anyone lives close to Albuquerque N.M. and wants to do that, they can contact me to arrange. Bob Q.
