"Sidepipes" with a lessened chance of snakebite. I like the appearance and the idea!
But I wonder if they're functional? The clean look of their throats in the first photo indicates they may be just mock-ups with possibly a couple of dump pipes hidden up under the trunk out of sight.

I think you called it ... the pipes do look a bit too clean, but it's an interesting idea and very nicely done.

Started to draw this up to see if it was feasible??? NOT. There is absolutely no room for a TOTAL of 8 individual pipes- 4 on each side. But a single 3"-4" pipe with muffler then four bent pipes could be done (Obviously). The only minor problem would be to make the covering as mentioned with the Viper.
Sorry, I still like em! :)
