Any BDR owners in Maryland????
Hello All ... New to the forum. Currently looking to buy a BDR in the upcoming year. I'm probably going to take a trip up to Vintage Motorsport in the near future but looking for anyone in MD who has one and is willing to let me take a look at it. I'm still debating a 427 or going the 4.6 supercharged route. Let me know. Thanks.

Hey DT,
I will look at our customer list, but I think most of our MD owners have sold the cars or moved. We will be at the Atlantic City Show/Auction in February if you cannot get up to see us sooner.

Cash,
Thanks, Ive followed a few of the posts. I'm home until late January then I head back out to work on ship until early spring. I was going to try and take advantage of your 427 under $50K but I might be pushing it. Is the 4.6 a popular option or are most people going the carb'd big block route? I haven't seen many posts with guys who have them ... lots about hopes and dreams aspiring to one.

The reality is the 4.6 option is pretty much a dead duck at this point. With the offering of the 5.0 in the new Mustang GT that is where we are heading in the modular powerplant territory. Due to the complexity of the engine and install you cannot beat the current specials we have on the 427 small block cars.
You never know what is possible. Shoot me an email with your timing considerations and we can usually find a way to make it happen. The discount on the chassis is only so long, we could lock you in on a roller and then get the powertrain squared away when you get back to dry land.
Either way, hope to hear from you. If you are military we have discounts as well.

DT,
Don't rush into anything it is a buyers market out there, look around on the classifieds. You may just find a great deal.

If you are in the Baltimore area, you can take a quick trip up I83 to York PA. I would be glad to show you a brand new BDR. Jay and Brian did a great job on mine and are following through with some customer service after the fact.
I just got the car inspected and I am waiting on the title and plates. If the timing and weather is right, we can go for a ride. Let me know.

Ranger,
Sounds good to me ... I actually live were 83 dumps into downtown. I was going to try and shoot up to Vintage Motors this week but the weather down here was terrible so I can imagine what CT is feels like right now. Just give me a shout for what ever works for you. I'm on a extended Vacation until Late January so I have plenty of free time. Thanks.

I was rethinking my comment on the supercharged 4.6 3V. That is such a great running engine combo. And I think the arrival of the 5.0 has lowered the cost on many on the parts such as the engine and the s/c kit. Maybe it is a great bang for the buck now, but the install is still a pia.

I'd like to schedule an appointment to see your car. If there's any road scum on it, I'll pass.
