Location for starter solenoid and voltage regulator

I am beginning the wiring on my EM car and need the location for the starter solenoid and voltage regulator. My assumption is that they both go on the right side inner fender across from the alternator but want to make sure.

The EM I've seen have them mounted on the firewall above the starter.

Thanks Dewight. Where are they mounted on the original 427 bodies?

Firewall above the starter, easy access for testing and cranking the motor over with a jumper for valve adjusting, also a cool place where you can avoid excessive heat and water. etc.

That's my 2 cents, Bill

In most cases, the starter solenoid is redundant to the one supplied on the starter...But it is a great power source...
