My Superformance Cobra

Hi Colin, I sent you 2 pictures of my Cobra, hope you can use them with my blessings, an let me know if you need anything else, would have posted pictures here but do not know how

Trevor Legate 12-29-2010 03:15 AM

Just to dive in here, I can confirm that Colin is 100% genuine and speaks the truth. He's also telling the truth about the huge profit he will (not) be making from his endeavors!!! Writing these books does not pay - end of story dammit......

Excaliber 12-29-2010 07:34 AM

When I was running a repair shop for a couple of years I calculated my salary per hour at 37 cents. So, I would have to assume that authoring a book does indeed pay,,, a similiar salary. :)

Trevor Legate 12-29-2010 11:11 AM

37 cents?? Wealth beyond my wildest dreams!!!! by about 37 cents (and I know you don't believe me but sadly tis true, at least as far as my '40 Years' book is concerned. Regarding my other books, maybe 37 cents is about right! You just gotta laugh.....

Maybe my build would qualify?

Maybe I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, but here goes...

Concerning pictures of your car, whatever car it might be. Most of the examples
posted on this thread will do well to review Curt Scott's web site for tip's on
how to take pictures of your car. For instance, it was noted in the first post
the background should be CLEAN (clear, no obstructions, nothing to draw the
eye away from the car to what might be in the background).

We have many examples of how NOT to take a picture of your car in this thread.
Some, if not most, are extraordinary examples of what not to do! :)

One other point, would you guys PLEASE figure out how to shrink your posted pics to a REASONABLE size so I don't have to scroll all the way to the right to see the freakin' picture or read the text. Gimme a break...

I'm with you on this one Mr. Excaliber!! Never ceases to amaze me that when you ask for clean shots with 'clear, uncuttered, simple, clean backgrounds', nobody takes a blind bit of notice.....
(I was working in a studio yesterday and the client asked for a close-up detail of a section of clothing the model was wearing - but she needed to see all the model as well. Tell me how that works then and I'll do it!! Or maybe I'm the mad one....)

For the Chapter Entitled "Don't Let this Happen to You..."
