Injecter Pulse Width
I'm using a Haltech F-10 computer. The engine runs awesome with it, and I really don't have any plans to change it. But, I have a question about the injecter pulse width.
When I look at the fuel table, the IPW at 6,500 rpm's and WOT is set at a little over 7ms. Yesterday I was doing som data logging through the F-10. At WOT and 6,500 rpm's, it shows the IPW at a little under 16ms. Which is correct? |
Are you sure the 7ms isn't base and there are other factors that add, like altitude compensation and O2 feedback?
|
The F-10 is fairly simple. It has a main fuel map based on rpm and TPS. There are a bunch of modifying mapes available. I use only 3 modifying maps: Coolant temp, air temp, and altitude. I don't even use the accelerater map or WOT map. All three that I use were at baseline, which means no modification to the base map.
It's odd that the recorded IPW is exactly 2x the map IPW. I found the same thing at other points in the map. |
