Auto transport from Seattle to DC

Anyone have a rough estimate of the cost (cheapest way) to ship a car (4Runner) from Seattle to DC? A friend may sell me his '94 4Runner, but not sure it's worth it. Great car and I'd get a good deal, but not sure if it's worth it.

700 to 1000 bucks, but it wont be an inclosed trailer. I shipped a car from seattle to phoenix and it was 400 dollars, so probably double that.

That's about what I figured. Don't care if it's enclosed. Thanks!

I shipped a 911 roller 2 year and it was about 1200 from LA to Southern MD. It wasn't a enclosed trailer.

Any other options that are cheaper, like on a train? Or anyone have any recommendations of who to call in the Seattle area to get a quote?

Google car transports and you get a site rating shipping companies. I had a '93 4Runner and it got pretty close to 13 mpg no matter what. This won't be a good daily driver. They are fun rides though.

Perfect. Thanks. My current daily driver is an '07 GT500, so I'm used to the mileage. But I need a snow car, sharing the wife's car when it snows isn't working.....

Maybe not if it's an enclosed trailer.

Try Magic Carpet Transport, just sent a 40 year old car to Oregon and I am shipping my snake from CA to NY this week. 5 star company call Craig.

I ended up not buying the car from my friend, so no need to ship. Thanks for all your thoughts!
