Are those CCW wheels you have now? Those look similiar to mine except mine are black. Very spendy wheels at over $600 each.

[quote=jeddi;1107925]I've never cared for wheel adapters. I doubt if even the machined aluminum set are very safe. So I would be looking into changing the hub.

Jeddi,

I agree on using adapters. It really depends on how big the adapters are. People use them to adapt from studs to pin drive all of the time though.

Just trying to suggest some options.

Yeah those wheels have got to go,they are not for this car,you want the period correct look on this car,not a mismatch like i'm seeing, what's the point of having a replica if the parts don't match the original. Bought TEAM 111 wheels and I love them. They have a web site by the same name.
"Finishline" sell motolita steering wheel, look period correct. You can find seats everywhere on cobra forum,go on the FFR wed site forum and join the club since you have a FFR it's worth it.

Those seats are ugly too,it kills the look. That car is a hot rod and it's not suppose to be a Cadillac,it's designed too go fast and scream look at me now. I Bought TEAM 111 wheels and I love them. I've got a Factory Five car and am using North Race Cars (Richard Oben's) Team III wheels. They're 5-lug but he knows what fits. I'd recommend giving him a call.

As far as seats; I'm using these and I think they're great:

I had high-back seats; liked the comfort and support but didn't like the look. So I replaced them with the low-back Roadster SS seats that sit on these mounts:

I ran a 3/4" square tube across the rear of the bracket to raise the rear of the low-back seats so that they didn't have as much rake.

Anyway, that's my setup as far as wheels and seats. I'm happy.

I also have a 4 lug FFR roadster. Could someone give me all the steps needed to make the change from 4 to 5 lug? Maybe toss in an estimate of the cost to change them out.

P.S. Sorry for the hijack but it sounds like the OP might be interested in changing to 5 lug also.

if you call FFR they should have all the info, part#'s and prices....and its not that hard of a swap....it can be done in a day or two if you take your time.
