Historic Ford Photos
Some very interesting stuff here, including a number of famous Ford racing photos -- I recognized a bunch from a quick scan. Might make some nice garage art.
"More than 10,000 images that illustrate the history of Ford Motor Co. are being pulled out of the auto company’s extensive archives and offered for sale for the first time. Hundreds of images of racing history, early and late models, personalities, and vintage signs and advertising are being added weekly with 10,000 included by the end of the year. The 5,000 already loaded can be found on a dedicated website, FordImages.com that Ford launched in January. " www.fordimages.com |

I ordered some of their old concept car photos in Dec 2010. Their service was fast and quality of product excellent.
Another company handles all those offerings though- ie, when ya order from Ford the transacation ( order fulfillment, billing and shipping ) is handled by another company called ARTEHOUSE , Bill - see below- NO affiliation to me BTW, I am just a customer : About Artehouse Our business was founded by Mr. Richard Weedn and Mr. Terence Flynn in 2000. Mr. Weedn is an avid motorcyclist and at the end of a unique race called the MotoGiro D’ Italia he located a rare motorcycle poster (0000-0001) outside Rimini, Italy. Mr. Weedn made a gift of this poster to his long time friend Mr. Flynn. Both agreed that it could be the basis for a new venture together and ArteHouse was born. In 2005 it was decided to expand the business and the name evolved to ArteHouse LLC. Today ArteHouse LLC is the largest publisher of Vintage Posters and it is the largest on-demand supplier to many of the nations leading art retailers. ArteHouse operates a network of private labeled websites which exist to support passionate collectors in many collectable niches. Our partners include some of the largest companies in the world. If your company or institution has an archive of images and/or a loyal following please give us a chance to show you what we can do for you. Contact our founder directly at rweedn@artehouse.com. |
