Nice 1:24 scale Cobra model

I know this belongs elsewhere but I figure not many folks frequent the models site. I got this 1:24 model from Fairfield Collectables and was pretty impressed with its quality and detail for the money. They also carry a 1:18 Cobra model and I haven't any idea if it is comparable or not. They carry a wide range of stuff from not much more than junk to some quality scale models so you kind of have to be careful.

The underside has very good detail and working suspension pieces also.

That's pretty nice detail and proportions for a 1:24 scale model. I like the discolored side pipes. Cool feature.

Who is the manufacturer of that model? Is it from University of Racing Legends?

I collect 1:18 models and am not that familiar with the other scale model makers.

Oreily auto parts carried the same car a couple years back, I bought 3 of them.

Well, it's not clear. It's marked Route WIX Collectables centered in a Highway sign emblem that reminds me of the 1:18 scale Route 66 collectables. I believe the WIX part is Wix Filters. I've not run across them before. Of course it's licensed by CS.

You might want to check out the 1:18 version Fairfield is also listing. it looks similar - I think there were two versions. One that looks a lot like this one and another version that is post-race and in bad need of a clean-up.

I have my Wix filter one in the box and have never opened it.

Guess I need to take a look at it.

Yep, that's what it is. Only difference is mine is silver with white stripes.
