A skunk in my garage!!!
This is not a joke. It really happened. I was working in the garage tonight after dark and I needed to start the cobra to check a new dizzy cap. Well, I opened both doors and turned on the fans. I decided to give Clois a call and check on the coupe project as the garage aired out.
Just about then my wife and my youngest son Reed came home from an errand. They were laughing and told me there was a skunk under the cobra! I thought they were just joking but I looked outside and there was the biggest freaking skunk you have ever seen cruising through the garage!:eek:
Well, it eventually found its way out without incident. I thought I was going to need some white stripes on my black cobra to go with the new exhaust smell!

Wow, that really stinks!:D

Your cobra stinks!
Could you just imagine the skunk stench every time you hopped in your roadster. If that happened to mine I think I'd go crazy.

If you would have had white stripes on your car the skunk may have thought it was going to get lucky with your Hurricane.:LOL::LOL:

Smart move.....letting the skunk find his own way out of the garage. Any other method of removing the skunk might have been a race you couldn't win.

:)
You handled it about the only way you could without having to explain to everyone why your Cobra smells the way it does. Glad it worked out and he left on his own. Maybe a No Skunks allowed sign in the front door of the garage.

There's been lots of very fast hardware with the word skunk in the name---maybe its a sign of things to be---black with white stripes would look fast, you'd just have to prove it--

Arlo might have covered it, but here is the original performed by the composer, Loudon Wainwright III.

[Edit: I had a similar situation once, late evening, dogs raising hell in the garage. When I got out there, it was a porcupine. Didn't want to get speared, so I just penned up the dogs. The porcupine found it's way out in good time.]
Cheers from Dugly
