2011 Spring Meet Even

Hello Everyone,

I am new member to the site. I purchased my car about 4 months ago and just like many of you have fallen in love with the car and have enjoyed owing it. I recently had an opportunity to attend the 2011 Spring Meet arranged by Austin Cobra club and was blown away by the cars and the owner that I saw and met. Not only this was a great opportunity to meet other enthusiast, also the proceed from the event went to help a charity. I was only able to attend on Saturday but I intend to attend the entire event next year.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the Austin Cobra Club and anyone else that was involved to arrange the function. We know it requires a lot of work and preparation, I specially want to thank the people that I met to name a few is Ken Walker, Dee and Jackie, Tom and last but not least Mike with his bright shining red Cobra that led us on the scenic cruise around the lake. Thank you for your hospitality and making our time pleasurable and all for a good cause.

I also want to mention seeing Jay Norstrom was a treat, he is a great guy and we can’t mention Cobra and not mention his name, it was great seeing you.

The Texas group is a great bunch....and Jay is hard to forget! Not that I'm trying Jay! :D

Sherrie and I going to try and get down there next year again. We miss you guys.

The only embarrassment of the weekend was when our new TCC president JShel1 lost to the weiner mobile is a street race.

Wecome aboard and nice ride. I am proud for you. It's been a long wait. Glad you followed my advice for your sign in name:) Now start coming to our meetings here in Dallas.

Brent, You and Sherrie need to come back here next year as our guests. If you do I won't have to show Sherrie the pictures I have of you at Spring Fling in the closet with the donkey;) I would love to see ya'll again.

Sherrie and I keep talking about it, but for some reason we don't pull the trigger. Do me the favor of next year bugging us about it a bit. We'll make it happen. Oh, and I don't keep any secrets from Sherrie....I told her about the donkey. :D
