No, never bottomed out. and the track thing... Ya I wanted to go fast sure, that was my intention. but it was the first session of the day and I had to start dead last because of the lead follow situation. The car quit on lap 4. I get the track excuse and understand it completely. But in this case it truly had nothing to do with what happened here.

After selling a ton of SPF car and having a working relationship with PE in the past, I can say without a doubt that I would personally have Eric install my drivetrain....hands down.
PE may do a great job of installing drivetrain components, but, what we're talking about here is building engines and so far I haven't seen anything to make me buy one of his engines....one failed after ONE MILE and another in less than 700 miles.......well, if you don't see the point, you never will.......

Cut & dried for me -
Eric admitted he made a couple of serious mistakes with that build.
Eric admitted he would share the costs to make it right.

Done deal, Eric needs to pay up.
Even if he does, PE is out of the picture for me, no customer should have to go through this kind of crap to recover losses from a faulty product.

Shame! Shame! Shame! PE is never get my biz or recommendation.

"PE is never get my biz or recommendation"

Yeah, and you won't get my nomination for english teacher of the year.

So you are an expert on what went down?

You are buying a product that PE sells and although you were considering PE now you will not purchase from PE? Come on, stop making wild statements.

The shame is when people get into the middle of a fight and make posts that are uniformed, or just trying to raise their post count.

I have had two PE engines, and although I have trouble with the second motor, Eric fixed it for free out of warranty.

I personally would not have taken this dispute to the internet, but I respect the OPs decision to do so. I do hope you get to an agreement with PE.

It has been discussed on this forum before how difficult it can be to interpret a disput like this. Engine builder not making good? Owner with expectations too high?

I hope you guys get it worked out.

Cut the crap, plain and simple.

Discuss the topic on its merit or I'll clear the room.

If you are going to be critical of someone else's grammar, you should run your post through a spell check.

Ron,

I actually think this thread should be closed at this time. Everyone has had their say. Eric has chosen to be non-responsive. I think everyone has formed an opinion of Performance Engineering.
