Hallett Track Rental Aug 6-7, 2011. (DATE CHANGE)
Several of us are considering renting Hallett Race Track for both Saturday and Sunday August 6 and 7, 2011. We will be limiting the number of cars to absolutely no more than 30 cars. This will allow for plenty of track time and minimal traffic. Cost would be based on the number of participants: 30 participants would cost us $135/day and 25 participants would cost us $160/day. Free garage space will be included. Hookups for RV's are available as well.
No trophies or awards just some fun on the road course with owners of like equipement. Of course we may have a couple non cobra cars to keep our cost low. I don't know if I will track my car but I am interested in joining you guys at the track. I live in OKC and may drive my car up there so count me in. This is not a race and would be classified as a Test n Tune weekend. This is the safest way to sort your car out and in many cases a chance for you to find out your comfort level as well. I hope we can pull this together. Clois |

e-mail sent Clois. Dean had told me about this, but thought it was going to be in September, good to see it's in August from a scheduling standpoint, not necessarily from a weather standpoint :D Does Dave Williams know?

Dave is coming! Dean spoke with him yesterday (6/8/11). I hope you can make it Tim. I can assure you that you will get all the track time you can stand. 1.8 mile road course over undulating terrain with a little corner they call "The Bee Itch. We may run the course counter clockwise on Saturday then clockwise on Sunday. Two completely different animals!

No more than 5 or 6 on the track at any one time. Best opportunity to get some good laps in.
