Googling does not work, and neither does Amazon. You need to go to his web site and buy it from him using paypal. I have it on order, and thanks for the reference.

It seems I remember you can test your engine to see if it has sufficient carb size with a better quality vacuum gage. The test is run on the road with wide open throttle. At wide open throttle in the upper rev range an undercarbuerated engine will pull a small positive vacuum because it can't fully satisfy the engine demand. If the engine has adequate or too much carburetion it will pull petty much 0 vacuum signal at full throttle. At least that is what I remember.
Anyone hear of this and try it before?

Wemozz give Barry at Survival Motorsports a call. I just purchased a set of his vintage 2x4's. they look oldststyle with a nice finish but have the quick fuel adjustable metering blocks. I have not stated the engine yet but everything I have read on the forum about them have been fantastic. 45 year old design brought up to this generation. When I inquired about the CFM sizes at quick fuel, the rep said with two carbs the single carb sizing charts do not work.
Barry sells the carbs and new linkages and can speak to their application to your needs. Cannot get more technical than that right now. I have bungs in the collectors to hook up and AF Meter when I get it running I will see how they work.
Elmariachi and Jon thanks you for the Jay Brown intake book link. Did not know it was out there.

Seems to me that you gotta try what you're thinking of going with. You get several different answers because no two engines are exactly the same and no two drivers run their cars the same way under the same conditions. Understand what Elm says, the spark plugs tell the story. They will ultimately let you know if you're on the right track. Good luck.
