The Gobra shined at Tulsa last week end with this sub eleven second pass. The last five trips down the quarter mile were all in the ten second range with a best of 10.74 and over 129 mph.
Roush 427 SR power with MSD 6AL...Roush "green dot" 780 CFM vacuum secondary carburetor Hoosier 335 x 17 drag radial tires / 50 traction rating ... 15# cold PSI Currie 9" with 3.89 gears Tremec T 56 transmission ....crossing finish line in 4th gear 2500 RPM start in 1st gear 2" primary headers with 4" collector / Car Chemistry mufflers 93 octane pump gas The only change on this car from the 700 mile trip last fall down Pacific Coast Highway in California from San Francisco to San Diego as well as the 118 mile long Big Bend Open Road Race this Spring is replacing the Michelin Pilot Sport rear tires with the Hoosier drag radials....exact same tune up used since last summer |
Very impressive numbers Jody. I knew you were sandbagging us out in Ft Stockton. It would be cool to get the BBORR to add in some other events, like a drag race.
