Inspection / Appraisal
Any advice or reference to a car inspection / appraisal company. Either a national company or service in Oregon and Maryland. I'm a little hesitant to just do a search on the internet without at least some kind of reference.
Thanks...

Any good mechanic can do a pretty decent inspection of these cars; appraisals are pretty much worthless. But better than a mechanic, if you can find someone from this forum, near the car that you are considering, that has owned that particular brand of Cobra for a few years, and that does his own repair work, that is far and away your best bet. That person will know more about the car, where to look, what to listen for, and what to feel for, than your typical "good" mechanic. Remember, these cars are pretty easy to fix -- you just want to make sure you're not buying a big load of trouble (it's a given that you're buying at least a small load of trouble;)).
