Fender Louver Mounting

Any one have any pics of Fender Vent/Louver mounting. Now that I have driven my Cobra 15K miles I am reading to finish body work and paint. I want to mount louvers and need some suggestions.

i used 1 inch aluminum flatstock, i drilled and tapped holes and installed stainless steel screws with red locktite then i used sem adhesive and mounted the aluminum to the inner fender. you can mount the upper and lower flatstock to the vents then mount it as a unit.

thin Alum. angle works good for the vents, and then use (1/4 "perforated bolts) from Mc Masters Carr. The perforated bolts have a washer like head with holes, you can use a small amount of bondo to attach the perferated bolts to the inside fenders so the vents are positioned perfectly. :D

Mine has been on there for 4 years now, no problems.

Use the angle aluminum. Rivet to the top and bottom surfaces of the louvers. Attach HD velcro to the verticle sides of the angle aluminum with the mating velcor to the inside of the fender. Will securely and still be easy to remove when needed.
