I moved mine from 21 to 24 a few months ago and that seems better for my patterns and usage. Since the rears have a larger contact patch I thought they might work best down a pound of two but that has not been the case. This is what I use on the street. Twisty back roads.

Edit: I see that you are Germany. I lived west of you in the Rheinlandpfalz for many years. Were I there today I would likely raise my pressures by 2-3 psi.

24 front 22 rear, ride nice don't they?

Saw the thread, I have Avons and love them I am at 25 and 22 rear. Any more and the ride becomes a little rough. Less and the car becomes stiff to turn at low speeds. I have the Subaru rack and it is very sensitive. Great on the highway. Question how is the best way to determine Tire pressure per application, with an infared gun?? I am sure there is a Stock Car/ Grassroots article on this but I have not searched.

Lay some rubber and see if the marks match the tread width. It's more fun than using the infra red to shoot even tire temps across the tread.

Mickmate ... I`m going to be a smart a$$ here ..... hoiw do you lay rubber with the front wheels ? All wheel drive ?
Seriously , your way works as we used to do that to set tire pressures for drag strip use .
I`ve got the Avons and on the street 26 F and 25 R ... at the track I have to bump them up a pound or two .
A lot depends on how the suspension is set ... i.e , how much negative camber front and rear , toe out , wheel weights , caster etc .
An infra red gun isn`t as much fun as your way , but , with the German police , probably a lot safer !
Roger Krause also has some good tips on his website as to how changing tire pressures can affect a cars`s handling .
