Mine splits down the middle, I use it for long drives with the possability of rain to keep the pass side dry, also keeps heat in cockpit longer during cool fall drives.

LEECBR, I like your interior cover! It is perfect for Cobras without the snaps. Of course, part of the lure of a tonneau cover is when it is snapped in place it looks English, refined and secure. The smell of leather is great too.

as others have said - used mine extensively in the old car, plan same for the next one. Works well for detering prying eyes, unwanted arses on seats, bird poo, and the soggy effects of light rain. i also like the look with one side attached and one zippered down.
glancing down the responses, looks like those in the sunshine states usually dont bother, and those that have to contend with colder climates do! |
WardL,
I think the Tonneaus are a great accessory to have. I would imagine on longer trips they would be great to have. Especially if your parked in unfamiliar areas or a chance of possible changes in weather. WardL you are right, they really do compliment the cars nicely. I also agree the smell of leather is nice too. It's just hard for me to think of putting those snaps onto the body. Once they are in, they are there for ever. I personally wouldn't use a tonneau enough to justify punching snaps into the body. My cover is meant for a quick outing or parking a few hours somewhere. Mainly to keep from sizzling on those hot seats and metal belt parts when returning. |

never used mine, but feel I should since I paid for it. I keep a water resident tarp, blanket in my trunk and just throw it over the car if I get caught in the rain.
(note, I can, however appreciate the those who use it to protect the hot seats though |
