Windsor water pump gasket number help...
This seems like a dumb problem and I'll take all the shots I deserve, but here goes.
I need the Fel-Pro part number for the backing plate to water pump for an Edelbrock pump number 8848 or 8843 (same but polished or not). Not the kit of all the gaskets, but the actual single gasket plate to pump number. The Fel-Pro set I picked up looks OK on the plate to front cover side, but it doesn't look right for the plate to pump (impeller side). One of the bolt holes is covered by the gasket supplied in the Fel-Pro kit I bought. Motor is a 418 small block, Date code on the block 1979. Thanks, |
