Shelby Cobra Fifty Years Book Arrived Today!
Got my Colin Comer Shelby Cobra Fifty Years Book today from Amazon and it is very cool. Glad I ordered it.....thought I wasn't going to get it until late October or November.....:cool:

Mine also arrived...The book is VERY well done. Photography is excellent. And there are many photos included that I've never seen before; which is tough to do these days, so many books just recycle photos.
The only problem I have: The dust jacket is all beat-up; scratched, wrinkled, creased, etc... I think it was from poor packaging for shipping. The shipping box was thick enough for 4 or 5 books and 2" larger all around. The book was floating around inside the box during shipping.... Wonder how I can get a new dust jacket?
Definitely a cover-to-cover reading book...destine to be a classic...

I would get in touch with Amazon and get them to send a new dust jacket. |

Got mine on Friday, great book! Mine wasn't packaged very well either, but dust cover came out without damage.

Your car looks great.
My plan is to call Amazon Monday I'm sure they will make good on the dust jacket.
I actually think this book is more interesting than that big Cobra coffee table book from "David Bull" Everyone should have a copy in their collections. I really think this book is underpriced for what is in it...

WOW...I just posted the word "Ama_on" in the message above and somehow it turned itself into a link to their website...I really don't like that technology at all....Big Brother....

Colin Comer's "Cobra Fifty Years"
Mine arrived in good shape - the book was shrink-wrapped to a larger piece of cardboard inside the big box, so that when it bounced around, there was no damage to the corners of the book.
Book is very nicely done, as expected from Colin. A "must-have" for your Cobra library.

The photo is great. Cool idea. The only thing better would be Honest Charlie "hisself" in the picture! |
