Custom seats or not
Could I please get some feedback on custom seats. I'm not sure if buying some type of high back racing seat or the like is the way to go. I'm worried that
1. It will change my sitting location, not for the good? I'm 6'1" 220 2. It will require welding on the frame for bolt locations ? 3. The seat head rest area will not be back far enough keeping my head forward (espicially with helmet on)? 4. Does it take away from the value and look of the car.? (only seen pictures never up close) I just want some ideas so I can make a decision. This winter i'ts either new heads or seats. Or both  Thanks guys Lou |
1) that may be an issue. See if the seat supplier will allow you to try one and return if it needed. 2) I reused existing bolt locations but made custom brackets 3) that shouldn't be an issue. 4) you can always put the old seats back in and most comments are positive on the look of mine.
