Roll Bar grommets?
What is everyone using for the spacer between the roll bar and body? I've seen rubber ones, stainless steel ones, etc. Please post pics and where you bought them. Thx.

Finish Line in Florida has very nice rubber gromets and polished bezel sleeves in a couple different tube sizes, both round and oval.

Hi Doug,
If you have access to a lathe, you can make them for about 25 cents each......I left about 1/16 inch gap between the bar and the grommet. The grommets are glued to the body with clear silicone, then a bead gets run in the bar to grommet gap. It's a cleaner look than you get with the rubber ones, which is what I was after. (Also helps justify owning a lathe :)

Nick
I do like the look of the rubber vs polished metal. Seems cleaner and simpler to me. Doesn't draw you eye to them as much. What size hole is needed in the body?

1-3/4" I bevel the underside edges of the hole for a good grommet fit.
