rollbar wind screen

I know this topic has been discussed in the past and dropped off but wanted to bring it up again to see if there is any new info.

I'm looking for a plexiglas wind screen that goes on the rollbar.
I like the one in the web pic at Beaumont Metal works with the nice machined roll bar brackets but a call there indicates that they no longer selling them.

Before I attempt to craft one myself, was wondering if anyone else is making them for sale or knows of another source I can contact?
Thanks

I had one. It want all the way across the back but was a pain to put on and take off, it was bulky. A guy posted a Picture on CC and the Backdraft site using a fine mesh screen, 2" velcro, 1 1/2 inch wide material sewed around the mesh and using weed wacker cord through the sewed material to make it stiff . I tried it and it works well. I have one for each roll bar and one between the bars. It cuts down on the wind real well.:)

On a recent visit to the Backdraft factory I got a couple of photos of their Wind Deflectors/diffusers.

What I did was reshape the side screens, if you look in my gallery you can see. The difference is great and a normal conversation can be had at highway speeds without blowing your cap off.

Chanmadd, it looked like you squared them off at the bottom. It works better than the regular wind wings?

They actually make a huge difference and could be a little bigger at the bottom bu the door ....the wind comes in mostly under the windwing... put your arm on the door and feel the difference and the bottom edge follows the contour of the body.:JEKYLHYDE

If you want a car that is quiet and comfortable, that has cup holders and Bluetooth, a stereo and a heater, an automatic transmission and a top, and that does not shake and make you smell like gasoline - you do not want a Cobra.

I use the Kirkey Drag Buckets. They hold you in position better, they protect your head if you go into the Armco backwards and they provide a windscreen for the back of your neck. They also magically create an extra 2-3 inches of legroom vs the stock Superformance seats. For ME, a win, win, win, win.

I have the Kirkey seats too and love them. They really help with the wind on long trips. Comfy also which is important on a 900 mile trip :D
