Is it for sale in a public place where we can take a look? |

Thanks guys. It's for sale and I'm looking at it with a friend shortly. I'll post pictures and hopefully we can solve the mystery. The engine is out of it so I can get a clear shot of the engine back, interior, ladder frame etc.
I think it's a little bit older. The one quirk that stuck out to me was the interior door panel had a modern/normal door handle, not the standard rear edge latch. Any thoughts? Of course, that could just be aftermarket. Thanks again for your input. Damon |
Maybe a Butler? Go to the Arntz/Butler forum and read up a bit. Most had a black door handle in the center of the door. I would be surprised if it had a 351 and Tremec though.

Here you go guys. See if you can figure it out.
351 Windsor (not cleveland as originally suspected). Ladder frame fiberglass foot wells "regular" door handles in the door I passed on the car, too much seemed to be a mystery and just not quite right but I'm still interested in the origin. |

It's a Butler
Did it have an engine fire or something? Doesn't look that great in there...
Definitely looks like a Butler. Could be an Arntz but it's sure got alot of Butler pieces on it, so I doubt it. Chassis number (or lack of) would tell you for sure. Is it still for sale? Where is it? Jason |
Yup Looks a ton like my Butler. Check out my gallery or drop me a line if you want

Jason:
What looks like fire damage in Bob's retouched photos is just the artifacts introduced by purposely over-processing the images to make the detail stand out. The original photos don't show any signs of fire. Bob: Could this be the elusive ERA00000001 barn find? ):-) DonC |
...how much want the seller for "it"?

This post is almost 2 months old and the original poster never replied or came back.

Hello, The car in question belongs to me. It has been at my shop in a storage room for some time now. I finished up another project for a customer early and decided to start on this one and get it back on the road. We should be getting the engine back from the rebulider this week (stroked 351w, ported & polished heads, cam, roller rockers etc...) I do not have any history on the car and it came to us just as it is in the photos. I do have all the parts that are not on the car. I would greatly appreciate any info you guys might have on who made it and what its worth. here are some better pics I took today.

"BRI" would make it a Butler Racing Cobra.
