48 ida webers -plugs
hello i just installed the 48 ida webers on my 347 stroker, 205 cc afr heads , MSD, 514 hp.
i had a set of autolite app 3924 but they look low quality and rather fouled .Should i run a hotter or colder plug..? looks like it need a hotter plug. Any one out there have a great plug for a high performance small block with webers..? cheers paul. |
Autolite is anything but a low quality plug and that is the correct heat range for most all high performance SBF applications. Sounds more like an overrich condition but you could verify that with whoever you bought the carbs from, i.e Jim Inglese, Redline, etc.

Autolite was all i used until i purchased a set of autolites 3924 from summit recently and front of package says nascar performance the backside of the package said designed in USA, MADE IN CHINA
The consistency of the electrode strap bend, all over the place. Took them back and exchanged them for NGKs. |
