I am looking for help about a Johnex cobra I am attempting to buy out of a bankruptcy I am a creditor in. Who is the expert about Johnex kits? Were they any good? I have seen the car but don't have photos. I have the VIN but it doesn't make much sense to me. Help ?

Asking a generic question like you have is like asking does the sky look blue, or blue?

You need to have all of the specs, drivetrain, suspension options, interior condition, exterior condition, mileage, color combinations at the very least in order for us to be able to properly answer your question.

You should probably give more details about the specific car, to get better answers.

Johnex has gone through three different owners/operations over the years. The thing they are probably best known for are their excellent chassis, supplied by CSC Racing of Newmarket ON.

I believe most Johnexes were sold as kits, so the quality of the finished car depends entirely on how it was built. And maintained.

Johnex kits were of high quality if that helps. Of course the build quality for finish will vary just like any other.
