"Just traded one off after being informed $2500 oil leak repairs on 60 k mile car"
Seems VERY EXTREME for an OIL PAN LEAK ????

I'm with mdross1! Can't give up my Cobra. Just a 5 minute attitude run once in a while restores my love for these cars! I'll drive my '11 mustang GT for the daily, and you can by 2 for that 60K!

Second, if you can find a Z8 for $60K that doesn't have a salvage title, I'll buy it. I love the looks and they retain their value similarly to the Ford GT. Z8's are $90,000-$120,000 cars last time I checked.

You're right. I forgot about the $60K limit. Oops.

But I think the SPF Grand Sport is awesome and wicked looking. It would be a great addition to any garage with a Cobra in it already. What pair of book ends!

The Spf Grand Sport is definitely on my short list.

Does anyone know anybody with a Spf Grand Sport?

The only concern is resale. Likely a very very very narrow market.

For me, the GS Vette is WAY over the top with all the doodads, baffles, exaggerated flares, etc. To each his own. And I think it would be a very very very thin market for resale as well. Especially since the NCRS Corvette crowd thinks they're an abomination.

Not sure if you're considering the Coupe or the Roadster, but neither does much for me and I owed a '66 Corvette 427 Convertible for a very long time.

I do really like the BMW Z8 idea. ALOT. Too bad it's outside the price range.

OK Max, how about a Z3 with an LS1? ;)

It'd prolly push a Z8's poop in!
